DimDimSum is a Hong Kong-style dim sum restaurant where you can enjoy a wide variety of dim sum dishes.
It brings the authentic flavors of traditional Hong Kong dim sum right here to Korea.

The kitchen is led by professional chefs from Hong Kong, along with experienced dim sum specialists, ensuring the finest Hong Kong dim sum experience.

LuckyAnn visited the DimDimSum store at the Express Bus Terminal branch with close friends filled with shared memories.

Expect a minimum wait of about an hour!
The restaurant features a sleek and modern black-themed interior, and the space was cozier than expected.

You can order using a QR code placed on each table, which adds convenience.

With excitement and anticipation to enjoy authentic Hong Kong dim sum, we ordered a variety of dishes. Each dish exceeded expectations with its flavor, fresh ingredients, and meticulous preparation. It was truly satisfying!

Having visited famous dim sum restaurants in Hong Kong before, LuckyAnn initially found Hong Kong-style dim sum not entirely to her taste. However, DimDimSum seems to reinterpret Hong Kong dim sum with a Korean twist, making it delightful.

The verdict? DimDimSum is delicious and popular for a reason!

Menu Highlights

1. Har Gow (Shrimp Dumplings):
The springy texture of the shrimp is outstanding. The thin, soft, and chewy rice wrapper encases shrimp that bursts with juice upon every bite. Its clean and mild flavor perfectly enhances the natural taste of shrimp.

2. Crispy Cheung Fun:
A unique combination of crispy fried elements wrapped in chewy rice rolls. It’s LuckyAnn’s top pick!

3. Xiao Long Bao:
Known as soup dumplings, the thin skin is filled with rich, flavorful broth and meat. A single bite releases the hot, savory soup that fills your mouth—simply divine! Protect the broth at all costs!
If the richness gets overwhelming, take a bite of the pickled cucumbers and sip some jasmine tea. It’s the perfect pairing!

4. Eggplant Dim Sum:
Be cautious—it can be very hot at first bite! The minced pork nestled between the eggplant offers a perfect balance of texture and flavor. The spicy and sweet sauce adds a refreshing touch, preventing it from feeling too heavy.

5. Char Siu (BBQ Pork):
A harmonious blend of nutty richness and tenderness. It’s moderately sweet, soft, and exceptionally well-cooked.

6. Roast Duck with Lo Mein:
This dish features chewy noodles paired with roasted duck. Although it was the most anticipated dish for LuckyAnn, the duck turned out drier than expected, with a texture somewhat reminiscent of pig trotters.

7. Mala Wontons:
These wontons are infused with a strong mala aroma, featuring a spicy, numbing mala sauce combined with pork filling. The moderate spiciness and bold flavor make it highly recommended for mala enthusiasts.

For those wanting to experience Hong Kong dim sum, DimDimSum comes highly recommended. Be sure to try the Crispy Cheung Fun—it’s a must!
